Mag.a Sabine Kroissenbrunner
born 1969; studies in political science at the University of Vienna (Mag.a phil.), Bosporus University, Istanbul/Turkey and at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London /GB (Master of Science in Politics of Asia and Africa). In 1994 trainee at the IKF, since then participation in several research projects. Since 2000 diplomat in the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Main research topics: socio-political organisation of migrants, religion and migration, Turkish immigration and Islam in Austria and Europe, Muslim Leadership, Turkey (state and religion, Islamic politics, Turkey and Europe).
